I was depressed to read of the shooting in the Castro this year. It's scary, because I've been to SF twice this year on major events where they've shut down the street. Why do people try to ruin everything fun and joyous? I don't get it.
The sad thing, Mike, is that He Who Is Here Now just celebrated his first Halloween and I'm so with you on the "can't be arsed to do anything about dressing up" thing that he wound up not dressing up either -- to his ultimate great disappointment. Me bad.
