The Homo Miss Manners?

Mark (pictured) performed at a reading/music series (Pontiac Quarterly at the Drake Hotel) last evening.

Basically, Mark (see blog at markcosgrove.com -- where we're promised a video of the performance) provided a very helpful and tastefully presented info and etiquette session for hooking up, er, dating via the Internet. Ahem.

Delightfully done, including a PowerPoint presentation.

I have much goofier pictures of Mark during his performance, but thought the very serious foundational messages in his presentation required the "look" of this shot :)

Good job, Mark.

Are you serious? :->
I'm wondering if Mark read, "I can't Believe I'm Buying This Book".

A commonsense guide to Successful Internet Dating.
Written by Evan Marc Katz.

Just wondering. :)

Just so you understand Mark's "presentation" was all I said it was, except a bit more, ah, totally full of satire, irony and pure mirth than perhaps my own irony allowed me to reveal in my description...

Ahhhhhh. I bought that book at a used bookstore on a lark but I have yet to read it. I've never done the online dating thingy or anything close, but I was curious.

I would probably have appreciated Mark's "presentation" very much.:)
