neighbours
A result of my not running for the last 6 or 7 years (gasp!) is that I rarely see other parts of the city. And believe me when you're running hundreds of kms every month you get to see many of the neighbourhoods. A regular route always took me through Cabbagetown, which is just a short walk from where I live.

You could probably bike instead of running so that you still get to explore the city :-)
I'd probably not go into that pet shop. It scares the hell out of me! *sob*
Shigeki, the store has several very LARGE iguanas LIVE inside. They don't sell them (anymore) just rescue them -- people buy 'em when they'resmall and cute and then want to get rid of them when they begin to resemble dragons and try to each the children.
that "each" should be "eat"
